IC Samples

Most IC Industries offer a wide range of samples for companies and students. These are "evaluation copies" for integrated circuits, and students or employeers can order free a little number of devices.

Some times this "little" number can be a large number for prototype uses!

There is a list of companies who offer component samples, and al short description about the service.

Microchip
A large company, famous for PIC microcontrollers, who offes samples of these microcontrollers and a lot of other components and memories. Required an email address with domain of company of university.
Order time: 7-15 days.

Dallas-Maxim
The best site, with hundreds of analog and mixed-mode ICs free, obtainables with only a registration form.
Order time: 5 days.

On Semiconductors
Wide range of free samples, most of these for high power.
Order time: 5 days.

Supertex
Voltage regulators, expecially for high voltages.
Order time: 10 days.

Texas Instruments
Free samples of most of Texas components.
Order time: 5 days.

National Semiconductors
Available a request form for free samples. Pay attention at the email domain.
Order time: 2 days.

IDT
Small amount of free samples, not always availables.
Order time: unknown.

Clare
Components and relays reed.
Order time: 15 days.

E-switch
Some types of switches.
Order time: unknown.

Crystal
A/D and D/A converters with high resolution for audio and industrial applications.
Order time: 15 days.

Fairchild
Analog, digital and optic components.
Order time: 5 days.

Coilcraft
Coil samples, wide range of coils for RF, high current or low power applications, and transformers.
